Dr. Jenny Jacomides
Dr. Jenny Jacomides is from San Angelo, Texas, and attended the University of Texas at Austin, earning a degree in Plan II, a Liberal Arts Honors program. She finished medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Jacomides completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. She felt very compelled to pursue pediatrics because she loves children and keeping them healthy. This led her to join the Southwestern Medical School Faculty as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. Dr. Jacomides taught medical students and residents while still working in Pediatric Urgent Care and as a Pediatric Hospitalist. She also led in providing newborn care at the Parkland Memorial Hospital newborn nursery.
Austin, Texas, welcomed Dr. Jacomides and her family in 2006. Dr. Jacomides is married to Dr. Lucas Jacomides, a urologist in Round Rock. Together, they have three kids, ages 21, 18, and 15. They enjoy the busy lifestyle of being supportive parents to children who are involved in cheerleading and lacrosse. Their oldest daughter attends UT Austin and plans to go to dental school. Dr. Jacomides loves spending time with her children and husband, living the hill country lifestyle. She also enjoys art, photography, and travel.
